Two Ron Palmer laminated Victorian-style longbows,
one at 55 lbs and the other 75 lbs.
Shooting Since
1982.
Introduction to Archery
I started shooting with a recurve bow and shot indoors at Minstead Hall
and outdoors at weekends in Godshill woods doing field archery. I later joined Waterside
Archers at Applemore school, where I decided to take up the longbow because
recurve competitions were getting too serious. Shooting the Longbow is more
enjoyable and more skill is involved.
