Introduction to Archery
I have always had a passion for medieval English history but my introduction to archery first came about on a visit to Farleigh Hungerford castle in Wiltshire, whereupon I witnessed a half dozen longbow archers shooting at a straw target for the pleasure of the public.

A year or so later I bumped into an old school friend of mine whom I hadn’t seen for many years, and during our conversations he mentioned archery as one of his hobbies and offered to take me along to his local club to have a go.  From the moment I touched my first bow I was hooked.
